This kind of diet helps many Hollywood stars keep themselves in magnificent shape. The Hollywood diet is based on limiting carbohydrates, fats and reducing the overall calorie intake. It offers to consume high-protein products (eggs, meat, fish) and plant fiber (low-carbohydrate fruits and vegetables). Like all diets, the Hollywood diet requires increased fluid intake of at least 1.5 liters per day. It may be green tea or ordinary non-carbonated and non-mineralized water.
The proposed diet does not include breakfast as such. However, in some less rigorous variants of this diet, it is allowed to drink green tea in the morning and eat half a grapefruit or orange. All offered products are available, their preparation does not take time. The main disadvantage of the Hollywood diet is that it is not balanced by the ratio of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, or the content of vitamins. Weakness may also occur because of insufficient amount of carbohydrates in the diet. Lack of fats can provoke metabolic disorders.
